It happens -
In about 1957 or 1958 our minister's son and I were snooping around in the attic of the parsonage and we found a stash of muskets and flintlocks - 7 in all - under a floor plank, wrapped in oilcloth. They were probably hidden there just after the American Revolution. |

The gun does not look very bad. A clean up is all I would do. With a value $2000 to 2500 restoration would be a waste of $$ never to be recouped.

That's right: the history. Of the British North American colonies, few have a richer history than Massachusetts. It's a fact that there are more citizens of Nova Scotia descent living there than our population now, a refuge from hard times when fish weren't on our shores, and for those seeking higher educations. The Red Sox are our favourite team.
