I will use my Parker 8 gauge. My W C Scott and Son says not for Ball. I think with the right mold I could make it work. The Parker has heavier barrels so that would be the gun I would use. Only 5 more days and I will try to shoot a few Coyotes. Watched a coyote pacing back and forth around a antelope fawn and mother last week when we went out to train. Ran him off, but wish I would have had my 218 Bee with me. Fawn was getting pretty big from when we had seen it a month ago. Hope he makes it.
Charlie if you can email me the information on the mold maker that would be wonderful.

I have a W&C Scott 10 gauge and mine has the same thing stamped on the underside of the barrels . And if I live long enough eventually I'll try roundballs in them atleast long enough to kill one deer !

the "not for ball" proof designates a choke or reduction in the bore size.

personally, i follow the advice.

i would think that at minimum you should make sure the ball is a hair smaller the the smallest diameter in that bore. there should be marks for chamber and bore size. tight 10's often have a reduction to 12 bore in the tubes.

No problem Charlie, I just got three boxes of shells loaded by Tom Armbrust. Some #2 and some #4. Should keep me in the Predator shooting business for awhile. I am going to start assembling some sort of loading equipment for the 8 gauge. I need to see if I can modify some 10 gauge magnum equipment.

the old 10 ga lee hand loader is what i use and then i have a roll crimp for thecrimping but do wish i had a 6 way or 8 crimp also...you can pobably get the mans name from tom who makes the hull resizer...there is a 1 stage that does it is one operation and theres some folks who make it ina 2 stage operation...or you can get a pair of pipe crimping pliars and with 1 minute s use of a die grinder you canhave a hull resizer but my way takes about 30 secounds to resize a hull and it dont look as pretty as toms but it works fine for me...just reminded me i was supose to have sent wayne a picture of it ... hope you good luck with the predertor control with the 8 ga...these are stories we are waiting to hear... p s what kinda loads did you have tom load up 2 -3 ounce etc.... charlie

I had some 2 1/2 and some 2 1/4 OZ loads done. Tomorrow morning is the day. Will be getting up around 4AM and start at day light. My 9:00 AM it is getting about 95 degrees and nothings moving. Not even a hungry coyote.

Here is a picture from a few years ago. If you get them up close you can make quick work of them. Sorry about the upside down barrels.
