Default The New 28

Christmass came late this year to C.O.B.'s house as there was some discrepenacy in Santa's ledger in the naughty vs nice collum. This delimea went to arbitration with C.O.B , Santa and the Elves and needless to say there was a real come to Jesus meeting amongst the inner circle. Promises were made and at the conclusion it was deemed that there were more good things than naughty things and the gift was approved by the slimest of margins.

On Thursday the Big Brown Truck (UPS) dropped off a rectangular package. This was just in the nick of time as a Pheasant hunt had been pre arranged for today. Daisy was her usuall stellar self and the present performed as good as it looks.

Yup the serial number is in the 250 range. The gun was assembeled from stock for a skeet shooter named Green. I don't remember his first name but his 4bbl set is mentioned in TPS and the gun was purchased from his family on the Eastern shore of MD. It's a two bbl set, the Parker bbls are 26 inches IC/M and the second set is from James Purdy and are 28 inches M/F.

The watertable has lightening cuts, it's a OO frame and it's marked grade 8. The barrell flats are stamped A1 but who knows. All I know is it's a nice gun and I like it and I shoot it pretty well....so far

Maybe it's a canidate for the last Parker built.
