I think the 9 figure is low and the 52 figure is high. However, quite a few 0000 frame guns were retained by the Skeuse family for later finishing. Dean, Geoffroy Gournet and I measured the pin separation of the 0000 frame guns at the Allentown show some years ago and arrived at the same conclusion you did. The 000 and the 0000 have identical pin separations.

The DHE engraved gun on gunbroker has a reinforcing screw through the forend, where the original .410 Parker does not have this. Interesting. I wonder whether the production 0000 frame .410s have the reinforcing screw?

Bill, are you talking about the screw at the front of the forend? I believe all Parker Reproduction beavertail forends have that. My 28 ga. DHE does.
