The wood on his beautiful Repro immediately brought to mind the hammers on the duBray AA hammer gun from the Autumn 2018 Issue.

I just started binge watching "Game of Thrones" and I could swear I saw a nearly identical stock on one of the crossbows being wielded by one of the Dothrakis.
