Hi, I been recently shooting some clay targets with RST 10ga shotshells. I found a couple of the spent wads and they indeed look like Rem. SP-10. One of the spent wads even had a 16ga fiber wad still in it. The shells were RST 1 1/8oz
#8 shot 1150 fps The gun was a Parker Bros. double barrel 10ga external hammers twist steel barrels. Great combo for some leisure clay bird shooting.

Anybody ever find out what powder and charge they use? I did call them yesterday and confirmed they use sp10 wads and a shot card they pull apart to get it down to approx a 1/4”. She was really nice but would not share the powder or charge. She did tell me they keep the load pressures under 7000.

Well I would have to guess that the 1 1/4 oz load listed on hodgens website using 31 grains of longshot and a SP10 wadwould have to be close as I’m going to get to RST’s load. Hogden lists this load a little faster than what the RST 10 gauge 1 1/4oz lowest there’s so they must use a little slower powder or few less grains I’m guessing?
