Yes Tom it's a John Deere. I was taking some pics of a barn project today and it got in the way. It's a 4410 Hydro version.

We've had 6-10" of blowing snow all day today, and still coming down. 7 degrees right now in Abilene, TX. It's about a once every 10 year event to be in the single digits here. Gonna be close to 0 the next two mornings. I'm just glad I don't have any livestock these days. I'd have been out feeding hay and chopping ice all day if I did.

Kubota makes them Harold and they make a front mount which sure saves on the neck pain. I would imagine that there are other companies out there making them to fit your tractor as well. We are supposed to get 8-12 more of the white stuff today through tomorrow morning.

Went through two bad ice storms two years in a row several years back. Hate ice....

We have got 12+ inches on the ground, up to 25 mph wind gusts and air temp 8*. This is gonna be a bitch by tomorrow and then there is more to come. I am 6.5 hours South of Chicago.... we should not get this here.... yea, right.

Just think how cold it would be if we didn't have global warming!

I had a blower for my Kubota and got rid of it. Too slow for me and not versatile enough. Now I have a hydraulic angle plow on the loader and that works much better for me. I can pile snow 10 feet high and right now I have several piles that high. Ice is a different story. I don't care what you have. It is difficult to deal with.

Have moved the 2 cars to the motor home barn, so they will be alright My truck will be in a better place too! I can handle snow but like you say Ice has to melt and that can take a long time No use to pick up any now wait till the next event is over and I will get them chipped up. I am also going to cut all trees that are close to the house next summer, these poplars are 100 ft and they shed limbs like crazy. this way I will not have to worry about damage from limbs, ice falling out of the trees are as big as coke bottles as you can see in one of the photos. Signing off now on the way to get my first covid shot, Gary

Geez that stinks Gary. Went through one of those about 15 years ago, thankfully only one as they are bad. We were without power for several days, hope you still have power? Best of luck with that situation.
