Default Grade 1 with Dam bbls??

Here is a picture from RIA of a hammer gun in the May 2022 sale, it appears to be a Grade 1 with Dam barrels, correct??? Looks like a 8ga.

Craig, I am happy to keep this 8g Parker secure for you. I will make room for it if need be. Just sayin'.

There are a few Grade 1 Damascus guns. I own a great little 28" 12 gauge that is my go to shooter.

I would suspect that besides the higher price for 8 gauge Parkers back then, there was also a premium charged for Damascus over Twist. There may be something in the factory records addressing that.

Do we know the serial number?

Maybe Chuck would know...

There was nothing I could find on the auction flyer that gave any idea of serial number or the range .

I will root out my PGCA letter on my Grade 1 Damascus gun. I don't remember a surcharge for the Damascus barrels. Look in the Grades section of TPS for production figures.

Bill there are no Grade 1 Dam 8ga listed in the TPS chart. I guess when the gun is cataloged we will know the serial number and maybe know more.
