Default Two Upcoming Notable Events at Rock Mt

We have two notable events coming up, one in October and one in December that are geared toward SxS shooters.

On October 17 (Sunday) we host our annual Fall Handicapped Sub-Gauge Event. Cost is $35 and there is a blue stone trophy for HOA and Lewis Classes available.

On December 19 we will host the first of hopefully many "Season's Greetings SxS Shoot". This is just a fun day to celebrate our beloved SxS guns. No trophies, etc but we will have Mike's famous chili for all the SxS shooters and if y'all are real nice we may even put out some homemade kalachi and kiffles for dessert! Cost for non-members is $35, members $30.

The 17th is out as I will be following Steggy picking up dead roosters in SD.

Weather permitting, Dec 19th sounds like a possibility. The days are real short then so it would be an overnight thing. I noticed you didn't list Pepto-Bismol with the menu.

Mike I'd love that early shoot, but I'll be chasing grouse around the hillsides of NY. Great idea!

We’ve been doing the spring and fall handicapped sub-gauge for a long time. Always fun.

Frank with his HOA trophy and Winchester model 12. Frank shot a 93/100 to win the event besting the RU by 4 birds. It would have been by 5 or more if he shot a superior Ithaca 37!!

Daryl, you say picking up Dead Roosters in SD., you MUST have switched to a 12 ga. Gun !

Sorry Harry but Jeff and I both carried our 20's to dispatch these birds and my 28's came out to bag a few. I'm getting too old to tote around a 7lb plus gun. A big bore for us are our 16's with 7/8oz 7's or 7 1/2's at 6 1/2lbs or less.
