Took this pair of Bobs yesterday with the Parker Repro. Is the "True Double" button available if I used a Parker Reproduction?

Sure, you can use a Repro or even a SBT (if you're really fast) to shoot your qualifying true double.

Congratulations!

Thanks Dean!

This is the last day of quail season. I am heading out with the reproduction after I write this.

Best,

Mike

I thought there was a stipulation for Texans that Greg Taggart had to witness it and record it while wearing a Fox Collectors hat?

I give, who is Greg Taggart?

And as a special treat here is another picture from Friday's hunt. And that is me, not Tom Selleck. Also Molly, Red, and Dubya. Belle was sulking at the truck because I scolded her.

Took a friend to my birdlease today. We used his dogs which are excellent field trial dogs but had never hunted wild birds. They did well but it was interesting. In the NSTRA field trials one bird gets up when the handler kicks the bush. The dogs went it to a euphoric state when a whole bushel basket of birds busted out of the mesquite. The little 28 managed to bag a few more.

Today was the end of quail season but yesterday was the start of the Spring Field trial season. Sulky little Belle managed a fourth place finish. Field trials for me are the same as methodone to a heroin addict.

I really shot the 28 well (for me.) I was surprised I hit anything at all with 20 and 40 thousandths of choke at 15 yards. Delightful little gun and a pleasure to carry. Balances exactly in my right hand and carries for miles with no strain or fatigue. I really am delighted with the gun. My current favorite quail gun I think.

Best,

Mike
