Before resizing the shank, put it in a pin vise and that in a drill chuck and with an emery board and the drill or drill press turning, it is easy to make it the right size.

Anyone have any tips to remove Ivory beads (both front and mid)that have been in for years without damaging them?

If they're screwed in, a pin vise. If not - no.

Why do you want to remove them? I think the best recommendation would be to leave them alone.

1. The barrels they are on needs the forend lug soldered.
2. These barrels do not fit any gun I currently own.
3. I would like to transfer these beads to a gun I use.
