Default Any comments on markings...

Looking at a late Remington 20 ga.

Any idea what the I stamp on the forward lug means?

Thanks

J

This gun is not a repro.

That "I" stamp is not among those illustrated on pages 582 and 583 as Remington stamps whose meaning is unknown.
