Default Nice Parker History Article

Hi everyone,

In researching the differences between Parker Special Steel and Vulcan Steel I came across this article. This is most likely, known facts, here on the forum, but if there are newcomers like myself, it was interesting reading and educational as well.

Here is a link to the article from The American Society of Arms Collectors:

Yup, we have all seen that. Thank you. You really need to get yourself a copy of "The Parker Story".

Matt - last I knew there were blemished copies available at a good price through The Double Gun Journal, it has been mentioned here that the blemishes, what ever they are are not noticable.

I got my still in the wrapper copy from these folks, it seemed a fair price and they were good to deal with although I see they no longer list the slipcased version

Check out Double Gun Journal they were the publishers of the Parker Story and they are selling "blems" or seconds for around $200 for both copies. I have seen a couple of these sets and I cannot see anything wrong with them.

I have a set of the "Blems" that I recently purchased from the DGJ for $195, and I cannot see where the "Blem" is It is a very nice set.
