Default Parker stocks

In the gun store I found my Trojan ther are 4 or 5 gun stocks from Parkers that have been parted out, there is also at least one set of barrels maybe more but I have not had time to go threw all of the sets of barrels yet. Most of the stocks are in pretty rough shape. My question is are these worth anything?

They are asking $40 to $50 each. They are missing but plates but still have the gold shields. Is this a good price?

I am new enough to Parker guns that I'm nor sure what guns the stocks are for, However next time I am out that way (It's a two hour drive) I will take pictures and write down the Serial #'s for all Parker stocks and barrels that I can find. There are also quite a few L.C smith parts but I know nothing about them.

I am always looking for extra stocks for patterns on my duplicator. Even if they are rough around the edges, they can usually be made to work.

I actually just finished taking two absolutely junk stocks and putting them together to make nice pattern for No.1 frame 12g.
One was missing the head and the other was missing the back half.

If the stock has been sanded you would have to build up the panels ect. to dupliate it no?

Calvin,

If your question is for me, Not really. I typically duplicate the profile oversized as to leave enough wood to work down to the right level by hand. So if the stock has been sanded down a bit, it isn't too big of a deal.
