Default Case coloring

I'm a novice and hope somebody can help me. I recently bought a Trojan produced in 1928. Gun looks great, maybe too great! Were the triggers case colored? Thanks

Thpical is that triggers were blued on Grades Trojan through G. D and up were plated.
