Default Need advice on VHE Skeet repairs

I have a Remington era 240689 VHE 20ga Skeet that is doubling and it also needs BT fore end wood repair or replacement. I have no experience with qualified repair centers or Parker gunsmiths and would appreciate some recommendations.

My go-to man for this kind of thing is Brad Bachelder in Grand Rapids MI. Just google him. There's none better.

Whatever you do, DON'T take it to the local black gun mechanic...

Post a picture of the fore end wood issue.
There are several qualified people on our forum who could assist. Actually there are a heck of a lot of qualified people on our forum.

You might consider contacting Brian Dudley via this forum as well.

Presuming it is a single trigger skeet gun it needs to be worked on by someone very experienced in this particular single trigger. You will regret it if you send it to the wrong gunsmith.

Please consider "The Miller Single Trigger Co." (a division of Classic Gunstocks, LLC.) They are expert in single triggers other than the Miller Single Trigger and they do beautiful stock work as well. 315-216-6140 and speak with either Dan May or Ken Waite, co-owners

Tons of expert advice given and it could go on and on. That's one of the things that makes this forum so special. Bob

Abe Chaber of Custom Craft Limited 203-748-1830 Abe has repaired two Parker single triggers for me and they were flawless afterword. No one better in my opinion.

I had the team of Dan May and Ken Waite work on a single trigger skeet gun for me and they fixed it when no one else could.
