In my experience I find more stuff at small mom and pop shops rather than big on line retailers. If I travel somewhere I just ask my phone, "Hey Siri, where is the closest gun shop." I've been surprised a time or two, most recently with Winchester 209's sitting on the shelf all alone. He said they had been there for "months" but everyone wants pistol and rifle primers. That has been my approach anyways.

Do you typically use Shirk or CAC ? I’ve picked up from both in the past . Kinda prefer CAC as we could fly into Ebinsburg airport and for $10 they’d drive the 400 or so yards and bring us our order we’d load up and be back in VA . The whole trip was done before I could drive from our area to Shirks much less load up and drive back .

The last two years I have been making my own shot. Before that I was using reclaimed shot from Roto Metals. When I first ordered from them I was paying $44.00 for two 25lb. bags, and as they say "free shipping". I just got sticker shock. I just went on their web site and now it is $66.25 for a 25lb. bag, washed and graphited with shipping calculated at checkout. From what I have been seeing in my area, I can buy new shot for less. I have no idea what happened. I guess it is more expensive to obtain the reclaimed shot now.
