Folks just are not understanding the fact that in order to conduct a search on this forum of a particular serial number -
the serial number must stand alone with nothing but a blank space (hit the space bar on your keyboard) both preceding the serial number and following it.

One set of missing barrels.
See prior post for details.
Not exactly clear on search criteria but hopefully one of these should work

Hi Steve - That's a DH according to the Serialization book - will any set do or do you need the lost 60571 barrels? I know you'd rather put the gun and original barrels together but it may be a long wait.

Original 16 ga. 0 frame 26" Damascus, "Quality 6" - one of 2 in the records.

The PGCA letter says the gun was sent back to Parker 3 times, twice for restocking/stock alterations.

Last time it was sent back the order specified adding a set of Titanic Steel barrels; no length specified. I would like very much to find these barrels if in fact they were ever made for this gun.

According to PGCA letter, it came with Damascus barrels, 30 inch as well as a 2nd set ordered in 24 inch.

Gun came with 28 Vulcan barrels when I obtained it.

Whoever did the barrels stamped them with an extra 1 in Front, maybe 1st set ?

The original 30” Damascus barrels would have been stamped with a 1 on the forend loop (lug) and the 24” set would have been stamped with a 2 in the same spot. Originally it would have come with a separate forend for each set of barrels and they would have been stamped 1 and 2 respectively above the serial number.

With that extra 1 stamped at the beginning of the serial number, it is doubtful that Vulcan set was added either at Meriden or at Illion.
