Default Factory Letter, Hang Tag

Is there a factory letter available for all for all Parkers, I have one that was made in 1922 according to the serial numbers. There is no hang tag listed for my serial number. So I am wondering if there is a "letter", for my Parker. The story I got with the gun is it was given to an employee, by Mr. Parker himself, upon his retirement.

Go to the "Research Letter" web page found off the parkerguns.org page and in the Serial Number Search section click on the red here and then enter your ser # and it will tell you if you can get a letter.

Gregory, join the PGCA for $40 and your letter will be only $40 for a combined total of $80... otherwise, a research letter for a non-member is $100.

Greg,

I think you have your terminology confused. There are "hang tags" there are "work order tags" and there are factory records. Hang tags were usually 3 tags sent with each new gun shipped. Work order tags were tags that followed the gun through the manufacturing plant and were not shipped with the gun. There are some "work order tags" that were found during a search of the Parker factory years ago. I think this is what you are referring to as not being available for your gun.

If you found that research records exist for your gun, send me a request for a letter.
