Default Baseball Parkers

Seeing how opening day was this past weekend, I was wondering if anyone owns or knows of any Parkers that were owned by baseball players?

Ty Cobb.. I can’t tell from this picture but I know he owned a Fox.

Babe Ruth's supposed GH Parker was for sale a few years back. The dealer was selling it with a restored GH just like it. Babe's supposed Parker was kind of rough from what I remember, and I think it either had his initials or name on the trigger guard. I remember a photo of him with a fur type coat on holding a Parker. Hope my memory is correct and it was not a dream. Found the old thread.

I have a 20 bore DHE that I purchased at auction from Holt's in England. The initial plate bears the name "S.D. McGraw" who I believe was associated with either the Giants or the Yankees. It was made in 1925.

Best Regards, George

Christy’s gun showed up at the Southern a few years ago. If I remember correctly when it was discovered it was in pretty bad shape and had the stock broken in two. A new stock was made for the gun and a complete resto was performed. It was a C grade and of course very nice. The fella who bought was I believe the Georgia state sporting clays champion. I spent a couple hours with him watching people shoot the 5 stand and admiring his gun.
