Default Research letters

How long does it usually take to get a research letter back? Just an estimate. I put in for one this morning and didn't know if I should expect something back in a week or two, or a month or so.
Thanks in advance.

Usually a week or so, depending on how busy Chuck is.

What Dean said. If you go a month, it means it got lost in the mail

It's surprisingly fast when you consider what's involved. Chuck is amazing.

John, check your e-mail. Quite often if Mary sends me the request for a letter in the morning, the letter will be in the mail the same day but all bets are off when the Post Office is involved.

Chuck, thank you for the very quick reply. I now have to figure out who S.A. Tucker was and what the special S.R. Butt would have been when he ordered it.

Tucker was the #2 salesman for Parker Brothers and S.R. Butt is probably a solid rubber butt, but it isn't the terminology normally used. Maybe we will learn something here when we see a picture of your gun's butt.

S.R. Butt would be an unfortunate name, but slightly above U.R. Butt.

That would make sense. The gun now wears a ventilated recoil pad. That most likely replaced the original. When I get the gun I will definitely post some pictures. Thanks for everyone's help.
