Default Great Parker Sticker

Yesterday was the opening of quail season in Colorado. It was a gorgeous day on the shortgrass prairie. My pup turned the lights on yesterday (finally) and pointed 4 coveys and lots of singles. What a great day!

Beautiful dog, I have always been partial to black and white settrs. Isnt it great when they figure things out. Male or female? Love that old Ithaca.

Congratulations on your smart pup! It's great to watch them learn and finally "get it".

Thanks Harold. Cinder is a 2 Y/O female. It's been a slow process but the lights turned on for her on Saturday. Makes me super excited.

Shawn,

What a blessing it must be to hunt in country like that, and with a young pup like that (not to mention taking your birds with a vintage firearm). There's just something about the prairie that makes things just right (of course, when the weather is good and the wind not blowing a gale). I hope you have a great season with that new pup.

You should carry some baby powder to tone down the reflection from the gold plated Ithaca triggers. Great pictures.

I have a Parker with gold triggers and I’ve not had any reflection problems, maybe because I don’t look at the triggers when shooting. Maybe that’s just me.
