Default New Old Guy

Ha! Guys, I've been fishing this great forum for the last couple of weeks. Have found some good info. and people! I've owned 11 Parkers in my years and I'am now down to 2, a CHE and a Trojan. ( Show and Go). Mostly been trading up over the years as I've sold or traded Parkers to buy other Parkers. Most of the early ones were 10% to 30% and ?able, fixed, cleaned, and maded shootable and passed them on, including 3 damasus, one being a hammer gun and several trojans along the way until the one keeper I've retained. Sold 2 others plus cash for the CHE. I have several ?'s about the original owner of the CHE and was trying to figure out where to post it. His name is Charles Dockendorf and represented the du Pont Powder Co. out of St. Paul, Mn. about a 100 years ago. They called him the Dago Kid. Any Info?

Thanks again to Chuck Bishop, I have tracked Charles Dockendorf to Stanwood,
Washington as Mayor of that fair city, also owner of the Hotel Rex, and County Game Comissioner, Professional Trap Shooter and in charge of the sport of trap shooting in our NW States. I'am still trying to tie him to a CHE that looks to be a Complete rebuild and reconfigured gun done at Remington in Feb of 1941 or Dec of 1943. Pic's to follow if I can figure out how!!!
