Default Parker Trojan with Twist Steel barrels

Does anyone have information on a Parker 12ga. Trojan with Twist steel barrels,serial no. 173901, Thanks. Harry

I recall that there was a batch of twist Trojans sent to H D Folsom. Records show 48 guns. 173901 is the first gun in the series.

It was the first Trojan built with twist barrels. It is mentioned in the Serialization Book as the first of 4 PX type in a row. Pretty special Trojan.

c. 1916 1 frame 12g Trojan with Twist barrels. One of 40 ordered by Iver Johnson Sporting Goods, successors to John. P. Lovell, Boston.
10g VHs with damascus barrels were part of the order also.
