Yes I agree... Grew up in Southern Illinois and it was great for quail and ducks in those days...Destry has more of a feel than I...but Grandad hunted it all with his BH!!....

Carmi isn't far off the Ohio and Wabash Rivers, I'm sure there was decent waterfowling in those areas. That's a little north of my home base so I don't know a lot of history from up there.
