Default Light dinner with protein !

Cooked a pair of venison tenderloin in a cast iron skillet with seasoning and Crisco . Added a tossed salad and a couple pieces of cheese , Pepsi 0 to wash it down with and perhaps a Sam Adams Oktoberfest when I watch the race later

Looks tasty, Craig.
BTW, I have switched from any type of veggie oil to lard for cooking.
Higher burn temp, better taste, and healthier.

Looks great but ditch the Crisco. Go with a high temperature oil or better yet rendered bacon fat. Way more tasty. Your veins may not be happy but your taste buds will love ❤️ you.

I used to use a small piece of bacon on each side , but the never really got crispy enough for me to eat it so I tried Crisco and the flavor isn’t bad .
