Brian, these are absolutely beautiful! I have thought about having something similar done to a couple of #1 frame GH 12s I have. Mine were in somewhat "well loved" shape when I received them (not nearly as poor as you described these). I did however clean them up nicely to remove most all the caked on oil/dirt and I applied some timberluxe to one of the stocks. They make me happy for the time being and are functional, but this causes me wonder.....what if?
