Default Parker vs Fox vs Modern

I know it's not Friday but I'll be away from the computer then. So, today my VH 20 gauge/3-incher met up with a Fox 12 gauge A Grade and five modern clays competition guns at Rock Mountain. 100 bird course. First time the Parker has been out of the safe in a long time. Parker was shooting 7/8 ounce loads, versus mostly 1 and 1-1/8 ounce for the 12's. I'm happy to say that the 20b came in 3 birds ahead of the Fox, and that the two double guns bested the five others.

Just goes to show it's the arrow not the Indian. Ha!

The VH is a two barrel set on a 2 frame, 12 gauge/32's and 20 gauge/3-inch/32's.

Good thing you had a 5 bird handicap or the 3/4, 7/8 and 1 oz 12g shells would have won by 2. So, technically, the Fox "Brought home the game"!!!!! It was a good day indeed shooting with "The Gang" again! The winter was waaaaaay too long and even 40 degrees feels like 60!! BTW, Frank, that 62 forecasted for tomorrow may make the Fox show itself again!!!!!!!

That said, Frank did shoot very well. I just don't want to give any glimmer of hope to Team Parker for the upcoming Fox-Parker Challenge at Ernie's!!

John, Mike is a very good friend so I'm writing this with tongue in cheek .... Here's a pic of a sign that's prominently displayed there at Rock Mountain. As Mike might comment: BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

EDITED 4/03/15 - I posted pic of a BOGUS wtb advert that some of the guys have been funning Mike with. It thought it was obvious from the text of my post and the wording on the bogus advert that it was a joke - but now, somehow, the pic has gone away. I didn't delete it and it's not a problem with photobucket as all of my other pb pics are working. Just explaining for those who are reading this thread.
