Default Bachelor herds are starting to form in Texas

I counted 9 bucks in the black & white photo.

I'd be happy to see one buck like that here in MI and I hunt the entire 14 day rifle season.

These pics are 45 yards from the house, in my backyard. The 8 pt. on the right of the colored pic is 140 or better. The 11 pt.on the far left of colored pic is close to 150. In going through the other pics on that nights photos, there were at least 4 that I had never seen before.
I'm not sure if this is a blessing or a curse, but I'm loving it.

Fred, they are Black bellied whistling ducks. They have been here from late spring and all summer.They stopped coming in last week, right after a cool front came through.
