While I own five MEC Reloaders, and use them all regularly, I still believe that a fellow named Rube Goldberg would gladly endorse the design of any one of them...

I came across an 8LBS container of SR 4759 last week. I am not sure what i am going to use it in. But I couldn't pass it up.

You have been blessed by fate! That stuff is wonderful for reduced cast bullet loads in rifles. Especially older cartridges like the .45/70, .38-55, .32-40, etc. But it will amaze you in most any rifle/cast bullet load.

It seems like I remember a conversion factor for this powder like using a percentage of the Bp load. dose anyone remember one and what is the percentage.

You are thinking of Ross Seyfried's 4198-for-Black powder formula. DON"T use this with 4759. There are plenty of good cast bullet loads available for 4759 from various sites on the net.

But sadly, it is still a discontinued powder.

I am familiar with Seyfried's formula and this was something different but I just cant place it. I guess I am getting old.
