Default Powder score!

I was buying .223 bullets from a guy today and he had an unopened 4# square tin of SR7625 that he sold me for $18/# !! He'd had it for many years so did fine at that price. I was elated and certainly didn't dicker. I don't know how/when I'm going to be able to get it to Alaska but I will somehow.

You never know what you will find at a gun show. Went to a local VFW "gun" show yesterday after church to see what was there. There were only four tables with guns. Very few guns. But I spotted some MEC loaders. Two 25 lb. bags of number eights also. Anyway, the shot is $55 plus so I came home with a 20 and a 12 MEC 9000N, both in new shape with 200 primers and the $110 worth of shot for as well as the MEC covers for $260! He had a MEC 650 that needed a few small parts with an old MEC Case Conditioner for another $30. I could not leave it there by itself. My $7 to attend was well worth it.

If you use the 9000Ns and set them up you will know what I mean when I say about one bag of the shot is on my basement floor's rug now.

Just last week while packing for a trip I found an 8lb jug of Clays and a 5lb. tin of 4756 that I had somehow hidden from myself in plain sight. I had switched over to 20/28 for my 20 ga. loads and had forgotten how good the 4756 was for the 20. Guess I'm good for a while.
