It would appear to be a tool for scraping the inside of empty brass. A combination of black powder and wad lubricants makes for a nasty, and corrosive, residue. Tossing fired brass into water ASAP and using a scraper was SOP from the beginning. Are there any markings on it? That is a nice tool for your collection!

Thanks for the replies. There are no markings on the tool. I was thinking it was a wad ram but didn't see what the two prongs were. Included in the lot was a nice 10 ga wad funnel marked Parker bros.
