Why ? One ounce will work for hunting or target loads. I shoot 1 1/16 or 1 oz loads all the time in my 10ga guns. You'll get nice patterns with a real short shot string. JMHO

Paul,
When shooting 1 oz of shot in the 10 ga, how many grains of Red Dot are you using? What size spacer in the shot cup? Thanks, Jack Kuzepski |

19grs and I have many spacers - don't remember know how many it takes -enough for a good crimp.
