Dean, don't let Edgar pull your chain. Family always comes first. Although I don't hunt, I understand your passion. Every fall, I'm either at a Penn State football game, in front of the TV, or listening to the radio. I've been known to miss birthdays, funerals, and weddings because of it. It's a good thing Koneski has a satellite dish in his clubhouse! I totally understand. Dean, Dan, Scott, and others, the Lord willing, there will be a next time. I hope you guys fill your bag.
Best,
Chuck

If it rains (or snows) in the NEK then we’ll be out hunting.
Who says we won't still shoot in the rain?

I was actually thinking of buying a wedding cake at Costco and bringing it to Addieville in honor of your 25,000th. You know we're all waiting for you to say something very profound. In fact, it will probably be inscribed on granite in the Library of Congress. Don't F it up and say something like "Well I'll be!"

Gents, since there is some discussion here re bird hunting up north....I would enjoy a hunt up north with my english setter over whom we have taken many birds these past 4 years. The guys i hunt and skeet with down here are not interested in hunting up north and i would prefer not to hunt alone. So here is an open invite to any who would like to make a trip up north for birds this season, let me know. Sophie my setter is steady to wing. Just pm me so we dont clutter this thread up.

I’ll get up there one of these days, but it won’t be one of those days. Buzzy and I will be rolling toward Wolveville, WI which is near No Where Near Nothing. Hate missing the offer to set camp in Edgar’s bear pasture. I once heard October winds blow like a pirate, and no where more so than the Northwoods. Heed their call we must!

If Edgar brings those special brownies, I think the LI Boyz might make the trip.

Make it a combo cake - Make sure they also write "Happy 50th Anniversary" too which we celebrate on 9/26/'20
