Default Pheasants + Phishing =Phun

Good lord, I was limited out in less than 10 min(2 birds) over Fancy today. Dont know why I brought all 3 setters. Used the GH 16 O frame. Then I went fishig and caught a mess of bluegills. A stud of a 150+ buck strolled by the other side of the pond, making me wish I had been smart enough to throw in my crossbow. The temp did get up to 70 today. Ticks are bad and found one imbedded in my chest while showering.

Sounds like a great day Harold.

When I returned from Vt last Saturday night I found a deer tick stuck right into my side... stuck in good.

Wow, you had a dandy of a day Harold. I stayed out of the woods today due to the heat but am going out in the AM. Speaking of deer the movement really fell off with the moon and the temps here from earlier this week. Monday I was covered up in deer and some really good young deer. I had this teenager along with his brother 8 pointer that was just a tad bigger in the horn department along with a 10 pointer in the 130-135 range. All good enough for me antler wise but just younguns. All under 30 yards just tempting me to shoot. This will not be the first tag sandwich I have ate.

A guy who volunteers in an organization I'm involved in came out of the woods with 44 ticks on his leg. Obviously stepped into a nest

It amazes me how ticks seem to be localized. I've been in the woods squirreling nearly every day of the season and have only had one on my pants leg. I hate the damn things also and am glad I've been able to be where they aren't.

She’s a better looking Setter....Some call her Fancy. Just to match the title he should have written her name as Phancy and shot the 20ga PH gun. All the more phun.
