Default Can anyone tell me whose SST this is ?

My latest Parker has this SST on it and I can not find any indication of whose it is. I posted this pic to the original thread but wanted to be sure folks saw this. My letter just says single trigger... sooooooo......

Here is a pic of the type of selective trigger on my gun (pic is not my gun):

There are no marks on it that I can find as identification. Mine does not have the stamped "R" or "L" at either end of the trigger plate selector.

Any ideas ?

It looks very much like a Parker trigger but can’t see if there is a screw behind it so early or late version determination would be difficult… if it is in fact a Parker trigger.

If that is a P on the side of the trigger blade then we can at least identify it as Parker.

The letter states Single Trigger and the gun appears to be a Parker trigger. What is the concern?

A one screw trigger would be first gen and a 2 screw trigger would be second gen.

EDIT: After some judicious cleaning of the exposed trigger blade visible on the left side of the gun I found a circle with a "P" in it so I guess the primary search question is answered. Thanks all....

Brian: I guess the concern is that other Parker single trigger guns I have seen/had in hand had "Parker" on the trigger. Thats my only reason....

With the gun being made in 1925 would that indicate a first or second gen. trigger or must we examine for one or two screws ?

Thanks for the input.

I have never seen "Parker" on the side of a factory trigger. And I have never heard of that.
Some early guns had a stamp on the trigger that was a pair of "crossed Ps". That is about it.

The ONLY maker of trigger that I have ever seen that had the actual name of it on it is the Miller.

Dean: As I said... That picture is not my gun. It was just for an example of what my selector looks like.

See Below.

Brian: You are correct. My bad I was confusing Miller as written. As I said in my edit... I cleaned the trigger blade up and found what looks like a circle with a "P" in it.

Here are a couple of pics of my 1936 VHE Skeet gun with the second generation Parker SST stamped with PB on the trigger blade, or is it Pt ?, and with the two screws identifying it as the second generation.

Dean: Thank you.... Without removing the trigger guard I can see a tiny hole with a slotted screw head behind it but thats as far as I can see without removing the trigger guard.

I guess its off to my shop for the gunsmith screw driver bits and move the trigger guard for a good look.

Thanks again for the pictures Dean and everyone's help.
