My 20 Repro barrels are stamped 2 3/4” but measure 3”, common on these?
Thanks

How long are your gun's barrels?

My 20ga. 26" gun is stamped for 2 3/4" shells and measure 2 3/4". I wouldn't say it's common if the gun has 26" bbls. There's always the possibility that it was custom spec'd that way or the chambers could have been lengthened by a previous owner. It has been reported in this forum that most, if not all, 20ga. and 12ga. Repros with 28" bbls. are chambered for 3" shells despite some of them carrying only 2 3/4" stampings.

Never say never when speaking of Parkers.

I have a 20 GA 2 barrel set both 26" barrels. The Q1/Q2 is stamped 2 3/4" Chambers and measures as such. The Ic/Mod is stamped 2 3/4" and 3" and so measures.

I have a 26" barrel as well that is stamped 2 3/4" but the chambers measure 3". I bought it from the original owner and was told they didn't extend the chambers so mine came from the factory that way.

Default 20 Ga

I am quite sure these barrels have not been modified as the gun was not fired until I owned it. It is good to know I am not the only one, will try some 3" Boss on some ducks. thanks.

These are IC/Mod barrels.
