Keith, You must be somewhere far south of us. It's snowing today and we are over a month and half from our season. Good luck to you...and the youth you must be hunting with(?)!

We had Jakes 3 feet away that snuck in on us as the gobblers were with the hens. Too cool! I am all the way in GA

We're several weeks out from the IN opener but the turkeys were everywhere today in the open fields with the Toms all strutting their stuff. Two weeks ago I had 10 Toms in the backyard. Several were last years brood with 6" or so beards, others were bigger. Going to chase one with Old Reliable.

Our season doesn't open in PA until Saturday, May 2. We can take a second gobbler if you have a special spring turkey tag.
