Default 16 ga lifter

Here is an interesting 16 ga lifter. It is a grade 2 but has a skeleton butt plate.
It appears to be one of the guns with Parker laminated barrels.

A very nice one Jeff. I have No. 18719 a similar 16 gauge Lifter in grade 3 with original 27” Parker made Laminated 3 barrels. It was sent back to remove the skeleton butt plate and install a hard rubber butt plate which is checkered and engraved to look like a skeleton steel butt plate.

May we see a picture of the Lam barrel contrast on yours?

Nice find Jeff. I have one in the 13000 serial number range. It's either an o grade or a grade 1 I don't recall.....and it's way back in the safe to dig it out. It's an 0 frame with the lightening cuts but no SSBP thats a real nice touch.

There can't be many like this one. What a nice piece of wood, and what an extraordinary gun.
