One of the guys who shoots with us on Thursdays shoots some Berretta, and his daughter shoots a 20ga. Ruger. The Ruger is very noticeably heavier than the Berretta.

I had a Ruger RL 20 that I shot for years at trap, Skeet and upland and never noticed it to be heavy.

We have something in the shop that’ll fit the bill just fine if I can get it in a 28 . A friend ordered an CZ (Huglu) 20 gauge with a shorter LOP for his daughter . If I can get one of those in 28 I’ll be satisfied . Plus my cost on the thing is VERY reasonable . I may let her try shooting my Parker 28 that’s on the HEAVY 20 gauge 0 frame And I “might” let her try the Superposed 28 28” that’s sitting in one of my saves .

I have several friends that have or have had Red Label 28’s . They all seemed pleased with them . My old grouse hunting partner at one point had a pair of Red Label 20’s , one was his grouse gun and the other had been tubed by Briley with full length 28 and 410 insert tubes to be used as his skeet gun . Oh both of those 20’s they were the earlier blued frame guns . I wouldn’t be adverse to a nice old blued frame 20 for her and load it down a skoosh .
