Default Two 16's

Here's a quick pic of Mike K's new to him VH Parker along with my DS Ejector Lefever, a recent find. Both 28" guns doing warm ups for the uplands with RST and Fiocchi shells. Pic was taken today on Rock Mtn's shorter woodsy course. Beautiful weather and so nice to see both classic 16's together and standing proud.

Frank it was great weather for shooting, not so for the hunting around here unfortunately although I did see one pretty nice deer this morning. What frame is that VH built on ?

Agreed Randy, a little too warm for hunting. Grouse are especially tough hereabouts in PA at least so far this season, though I was able to walk up a good ringneck on Thursday. I'm pretty sure Mike's new VH is a 1 frame.

Here's a good buck that was chasing does as I drove out on Thursday. Taken at long range with my cell camera. Pic is greatly expanded and not the best but you can see the white of the antlers beyond and above his ears.

Gotta love those little DSs! A lot of LeFever for the buck!
I have a 20 I've become really fond of.

Yes it is. I need to clean the triggers up a bit. Rear was a long creep but that’ll change.

I just talked to Dale today Mike. He said he sent the gun a while ago. I forgot all about it till I read this posting, saw the picture and put 2 + 2 together. Yeah that second trigger creeps, but I think we were use to it. I was going to take it apart and clean it, but time didn't allow. It's a great shooter, and has taken many birds during our Saturday morning shoots!
