Default Double Gun Journal

I thought that the projected date for the 3rd reader was about Christmas of 2023. I wrote to Daniel and Joanna asking for an update, haven't heard back yet. Has anyone heard anything?

It was on their FB page that the publication of Vol 3 would be a couple of months later than projected because od illness. They will announce when it is published.

This is the post on Facebook. We should see a card in the mail in the next 2-3 weeks. I’m not sure what the last sentence implies. Hopefully, I’m reading more into it than Daniel is saying.

“To all DGJ faithful,
I have had Shingles now for the past 3 weeks, so the Index 3 pre-publication order card can be expected to reach you within the next 2-3 weeks….all production work had to be held up. I had a hard case since I wasn’t diagnosed early and because of my age. The Index 3 book is more than 80% finished however and WILL be published as soon as we judge pre-publication response to the new products order card which all our final subscribers will receive within 2-3 weeks.”

Thanks for the update. Hope Daniel is feeling better soon. I'm not on Facebook, so I wouldn't have known.

If I remember, when they ceased, the people due money could cash it out in merchendise. One of the options I think was to apply the credit toward the third reader. My memory may be faulty on this. It may have been you could simply sign up for presale at the time they closed. I did one or the other and can't remember which. Old age is terrible.

Cool DGY

Sounds iffy to me, I agree waiting to see how many they need to sell is not good. We will see.

Daniel is a man of his word. If he said he will, he will !

It's just me, but I think there will be more than enough people sign up for it to be a"GO!" on printing it. The first and second reader each covered 7 years for indexes and the extra stories were top notch. This next one will be covering 18 years and extra articles. I'm afraid it might be the size of one volume of The Parker Story.

It's actually a quite common sales technique. Sears did it for 20 or more years. I used to buy a lot of appliances and tools from them, usually from litmited time ads. Invariably, if the sale ended on say, the 10th of the month, I would recieve a notice within a day or two saying I would recieve it a month or 6 weeks out.
