Default Red Flannel Long Underwear....

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH PARKER GUNS

You all know of my love for good old Made in USA products.

I have recently discovered a company who produces red flannel long underwear (both two piece and union suit) right here in Michigan!

I can't believe I've never heard of them till today. Sadly they do not produce them for men of my godlike proportions, but they do offer them in all sizes up to 2XL.

Get to ordering boys and support a USA company!

Regards,
Destry

Destry, it appears that they will make them to fit your godlike proportions . . . they show custom sizes are available at only an $8.00 upcharge!

There's something to say for red flannel, A friend who loved to hunt, a great newspaperman who did two tours as a Lancaster pilot during the war, gave up hunting when a member of his hunting party was killed taking a crap, his white long johns mistaken for a deer.

Never heard of them either. I have suits like that but mine are all 100% nice scratchy wool, which I only wear if I'm going to be out all day in temps of -40F or lower. They're essential when it gets to -50F I can tell you. They're especially good for cold weather flying or snowmachining. We haven't had much weather like that around Fbx for years and I hide inside when we do so they're packed away pretty deep these days. I bought my best and heaviest ones in 1976 in Whitehorse in the Yukon and got the last 100% wool set they had as the company was changing to 80%. I love those things! They're about 3x as heavy as the usual light weight suits and nice and scratchy.

Did anybody order a pair? I'm going up there pretty soon for a "fitting". The lady said if I was close to come on up to visit, that she could fit me better if she could get a look at me.

Wait 'til she sees you with your clothes off. Be prepared for a swoon

John D,

I'm guessing there will be no nudity involved. She sounded like she was about 80 on the phone....
