Default 12 Gauge Balance

Looking at a Parker Reproduction with 26 inch barrels (photos). How well balanced are 26 inch barrel guns? Can Beaver Tail forends be located?
Thanks!

They still balance well between the hands. A loose beaver tail forend is near impossible to find. If you meant to say "Can Repros with beaver tail forends be found?" then yes, but they don't often come up for sale.

I checked my 12 Repro. It balances exactly at the center of the hinge pin.
And it feels great to the shoulder.

Of the ones I've handled..haven't come across a Repro that didn't balance at the pin w/ 26" barrels or just beyond the pin w/ 28" barrels. All balanced well & I'll agree they come to shoulder nicely.

Cannot speak to guns w/BT having only handled one sub gauge.

A consideration exclusive to the 12 ga would be the thickness of the comb which is a bit beefier than the sub gauges making lop a bit more important for instinctual shooters.
