Default Dual sear spring removal

I'm dissembling my first Parker and I am unable to get the dual sear spring out. It does not want to slide out like it does in the pictures in the dis-assembly manual. I know it never is quite like it is in pictures, but I can learn. It does look as if it was peened slightly, but not really to any extent. Does anyone have any words of wisdom on how one is supposed to gingerly get this spring out? I would appreciate any thoughts or ideas on what might help.

Thank you

Toby

First of all why do you want to take them out? If you don't absolutly have to leave them alone. They have a peg on the down side that goes into the frame, you have to gently pry them out. more than likely they are rusted in place. Good luck!
