On the furniture? Hell, our two French Brittanys sleep in the bed with us. (though they do get bathed after a hunt)

Furniture yes, bed no, as my one setter likes to stretch out during the night, meaning I am sleeping on the edge of the bed or off it , that doesn't fly so they can have the chair or the couch but not the bed.

Gunner had his own leather chair, I considered burying him with it but that was just to much trouble.

Daisy usually shares the recliner with one of us but she sleeps in her crate UNLESS we are at camp and what happens in camp stays in camp.

The only thing our boys like better than the recliner, is a lap in the recliner!!

I can't imagine dog not being in the house with me, it would be like having a shotgun but no shells.

Daisy and I are off to the recliner to hunt Africa....she loves Elephant hunting

Setters and labs in our house have carte blanche with the sofa. No other furniture accept people beds in morning as we get dressed. It’s always a losing battle...sad eyes and paws on knees and then its 1, 2, 3 and they’re up on your lap. Photo of son, Chris, Brody (lab) and Max (setter).

Hey, anyone who doesn't consider their dog a member of the family, and like family members they are free to sit, lay on whatever they choose. Also being married to a female Marlin Perkins they are just spoiled to death and treated better than I.
