Always makes me mad that they hold the show on the weekend after Thanksgiving. I'm always up at my cabin that weekend.

Enjoy the holiday at your magical place on the North Branch, John. I'll be quail hunting here in southern KY, but thinking about the AuSable region.

Leaving tomorrow morning. Will be up there with my bride, our daughter and her tribe. No grouse hunting during deer season, and none of the shotgun venues will be open, so we may be burning a lot of pistol and rifle ammunition

I always find that show to be very disappointing. Lots of worn out military gear and memorabilia and sporting firearms that have had hard lives, and everything way overpriced.

I agree with Big D: the weekend is always problematic and there are better things to be done with my time.

IMHO, it's a better show than those with tables full of beef jerky and black guns.
