Ken,

forgive me if I missed it, are these case colors original I would guess?

If they have been redone, who would have done them, it is beautiful.

Thanks,
Stan

Hi Stan,
Thank you for that question, here's what we know about the gun:

Brian found it originally and removed a wooden butt extension and pad that detracted from an otherwise very attractive gun and made for an unnaturally long LOP. The buttstock had been previously refinished, but lightly so and the details were preserved in the typical areas that generally get wiped out when done by a less than skillful hand. Brian did nothing to the buttstock other than fit an new period appropriate pad. Mechanical work included replacement of a cocking indicator & spring and one weak trigger spring. He feels the case colors, barrel finish and forend are all original. This is an excellent example of a G grade seldom seen in anything near this condition!

Let's see if we can sell out all 1000 tickets this year!

Best,
Ken

The gun will be available for hands on viewing at the Southern SxS in Sanford, NC in April, at the Northeast SxS at Hauseman's in Friendsville, Pa in June, and at the Vintager's Cup in Wellsville, Pa in September where we plan to pull the wining ticket.

Just a brief reminder that if you haven’t purchased tickets for the 2024 Lefever raffle gun, and you are attending the Southern SxS this week, make sure you stop by the LACA table. The tickets are moving fast this year, and it’s best to act now!

When you purchase tickets using PayPal, do they mail you paper tickets or are they electronic tickets. I asked because two years ago I purchased tickets using PayPal and I never received any paper tickets so I took for granted I was in the drawing anyway.
