Chilled Shot, Thanks for the reply. I will take some pictures and post them within the next few days.
So the crescent moon was a factory inlaid piece? Does it signify a grade or option? Thanks Again. |

Nick,
The gun should be a grade 0, underlever, 12ga with 30" barrels, and the type of stock is not listed. The stock may or may not have been checkered. What does the rib inscription read? If the gold tone shield behind the top tang looks like a badge, that's standard with the gun. I doubt that the gold crescent moon on the side of the stock would have been done by Parker Bros. |

Chuck,
Thanks for the information. Going from memory here but the rib inscription says Parker Brothers.....Plain Twist St. The gold tone shield looks like a badge and is engraved with three initials. The stock has a ball style grip and has some checkering but nothing extremely ornate. Thanks Again guys you have been extremely helpful. |

Nick,
There were different types of twist barrels. My gun, similar to yours S/N 8036 has Stub Twist barrels. Some of these grade 0 guns had checkering, some didn't. Close up, in focus pictures are always helpful. Where in W. Central Pa do you live? I'm in Harrisburg. |

Nick, keep in mind that a letter for a non-member is $100 but if you join the PGCA at $40 the letter will only cost $40.

I am in Bedford County about midway between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh.
I will do my best with the pictures! The application I filled out and dropped in the mail said $60? |
