Default I think I may have a Parker!

My father-in-law owned this gun. No other information except what I have found on the web that led me here. It is a 10 gauge. Serial number is 75839. It has Salem G LE Buffalo NY between the barrels. Any information or advice would be helpful.
Thanks,
Gene

Default some additional info

you will find Salem G Le Valley listed here as a maker or reseller
http://www.cornellpubs.com/old-guns/...hp?item_id=117

and as a hardware dealer in Buffalo in the 1880's
Salem G. Le Valley Hardware and Cutlery,
http://books.google.com/books?id=sqT...Bsalem&f=false

i think you will find that this is one of those mass produced Belgium guns, anyone who ordered a minimum number could get his choice of names put on them.
